Alright...getting ready to do my system install, getting the last few things together and want some opinions...

This is a new model and I can get it for $799 with no tax! So, here is the info and link and all, let me know if this is a good one to go with. I'm not looking for anything crazy either, just want a nice 7 inch flip screen and MP3. DVD of course and the run the PS2 in there. I think this does all of that and seems to be a good unit.

Anyway...

I have never been a fan of JVC. I would have spent my money on a Pioneer. But give us an update on how you like it. I'd be interested to hear how it works.

I've used a few JVC HUs and they've all worked great until they were stolen. I like that they will play MP3s off a DVD.

Holy crap...a reply to this post!!

Thought I was on my own there for a bit! Yeah, I'll see how it all goes once it's hooked up. I've not owned but one system and that was a Kenwood, and about 10 years ago!

Never really thought about putting a system in but figure I might as well since I had some extra money.

I'll let you know!

I can't stand JVC. When I first started to drive I bought a JVC head unit.
Stopped working. Then returned it. Stopped playing. Took it out and just about got a third degree burn cause the thing was so hot. So I went and bought a pioneer cd player that was 7 years ago and the thing still works. It's in my grandfathers truck now and still playing like new.
