I got a 15" L7 solobaric rated at 1000 watts rms its a dual 4 ohm, i havent rly figured out how all the bridging and ohms and all that work, i got a 500/1 JL audio amp hooked up to it now but i know it can handle a hell of alot more, i was thinking of getting the kicker 1200/1 amp will this give me the whole 1000 watts or will bridging it to 2 ohms make it only run at 600 watts?

yeah the 1250.1 is only 600w at 2 ohms. I would go with something like this and its ALOT cheeper.

i have 2 of them in my car right now and directed audio is dei and they make dei, viper. orian, ppi, and a few more.

Why not add a second 500/1. You can run one to each voice coil.
