Looking for the brain on an '03 LS Sport's factory XM setup. Any ideas?
Are you looking to buy one or looking for the brain itself in your car?
I have one if you need it, and I believe it's located in the trunk somewhere but I could be very wrong...

Looking to rip out the factory @!#$ and replace with Pioneer XM setup.
Trying to locate factory brain to see if antenna can be reused

.
I was helping a friend (moral support, ha ha!) to brown-bread his car the other day... there was a strange connector in it (I've never seen before). He has a 2003 Z24 (Canada, we still have them). It was on the rear deck, passenger side. I imagine if there's an XM anything plugged into it, it would be in the trunk behind the carpet, passenger side, near the back seat.
If you find it, can you take a pic? I'm curious what it looks like.
the antena in the roof , should have the standard connectors on it that the rest of the xm systems use
im actually looking for all the stock xm stuff

Lemme know if interested Eric in the brain if nothing else.
The connector is completely different. Unfortunately you will need to buy a new antenna kit for your radio. The upside is the aftermarket antennas are sooo much smaller.

Yeah we have an aftermarket one, but what's the point of having the factory one too? As I heard there are holes in the roof for it so removing it is out of the question.
