Ok so i have a weird problem with my dome light. It stays on all the time. I start the car up it flickers a bit then stays on and wont go off until i start driving, then it goes off. But when i slow down, at a red light or come to a complete stop it comes on again. then i go again and it comes back on. Also i have another probem i think this is y its on all the time. My passlock doesnt work. The lights dont flash when i lock my doors and the horn doesnt go off.( i have a stock alarm on it that came with gm, passlock thingy or whatever)cuz the horn usually beeps once to let u know that the passlock is armed. The doors lock and unlock its just the the security feature isnt there. Also the passlock light was on a lil while ago and the alarm would go off for no reason.

I have almost the identical problem and ironically enough, it's the identical car...2001 Sunfire GT Indigo Blue, except mine's an auto.

Mine, the light comes on sometimes when I hit the brake to slow down, sometimes when I'm sitting in park and hit the brake, but the most annoying part is when it's parked with nobody around it and the dome light comes on...set's the alarm off every time.

It's got me completely stumped....

Anyone???

It's the door jamb switches. They're located on the lower part of the door jamb and control the dinger as well as the dome light.
