You could also get some rear panels from a convertable that had factoyr spreakers in that local, and hide them behind the panel and make it look factory.

Im thinking about doing that with another set of 6 1/2 speakers like the ones i have in the doors, but not sure its worth it. Well see.

I don't have any rear fill in my car and I've never had anyone complain. Currently I just have a set of Alpine 6.5 Components in the doors with the tweeters mounted to the kick panels. I used to have some 15's in the trunk but I sold them and am currently designing and building a new sub and amprack setup.

Has anyone tried this with a 3rd gen? Do you know the depth from the panel to the rear fender?

I'm thinking about a 3 way component back there. Might sound pretty good. I'll start on it this weekend!

I had a 3 way setup up front before it was stolen. I made kickpods in the doors for a 6 1/2, 4 and tweeter. The set that wasn't stolen is a 6 1/2, 5 1/4, and tweeter. I'd hate to have to re-do the kickpods for the other set of components. Eventually I'll pick up another set for up front, but until then I'll use what I have right now, the 3 ways and a set of 8's in the back deck.
