I have a clarion 7" touch screen DVD player. WHen I load a disc it says "Error 6" which the manual translates to "the disc is upside down" which I know its not. What do you think is wrong? Is the laser out of alignment? Is there any way I could fix this myself? or should I send it in to clarion?
Try running a cd cleaner cd in it. If not, see if there's a reset button on the unit itself. If all else fails, call them.

I tried running a cleaner, but if it wont even begin the cleaning process cuz it cant load the disc, it wont do any good. Ive disconnected the power but I suppose I can check for a reset, Thanks
