Hey whats going on. I figured this would be the best forum for this seeing that it does have to deal with electronics. Well I bought a new temp sensor and my check engine light is still on so I run over to auto zone since they check that stuff for free. He tells me what it is which is what I thought the temp sensor and I tell him I just bought a new one. He said to disconnet the negtive on my battery for 10 mins or so and the light will away. I did that just went back out there and of course it is still on. Any advice? Thanks as always!

Wait longer... turn the headlights on then disconnect the battery cable. Give it a good 15-20 minutes, they like to remember if there's still some juice somewhere.
Are you sure that the temp sensor is good?...
I bought 2 temp sensors before I got a good one. The same thing was happening to me.
Well this either my 3rd or 4th one and all thos had been from auto zone so I went to oreilys (sp?) and bought a new one. Ya because I went back to auto zone and had them do there thing were they plug their computer in and he said temp sensor and I told him I just put a new one in there.
