Replaced Signal Lights, lights wont turn off..
Sunday, October 30, 2005 11:03 AM
i cut off the round bumper lights and put some fog lights in their place(perfect fit, looks OEM). i relocated some LEDs to be my new signal lightsnow i knnew it was going to blink faster, and it doesnt bother me, but in the guage cluster, i cant get the left blinker light to turn off. it just stays on and its really annoying looking at the little yellow light at night. it has no effect on whats going on outside as the LED's still do their job as do my rear lights(albeit faster, but w/e)

anyone know why the left blinker is on and how to fix it?

They way our lights work is via resistance. I'm suprised both of them aren't lit up. When I put in different turn signals up front, both of the markers would light up on the inside. If you put a resistor on the lights, you can actually slow the LED's down and it'll make your turn signal indicators in the inside work fine.

I'm not exactly sure; when I read up on removing one set of lights, it was 6 ohm 50 watts.
