Im supposed to be leaving here in an hour for a trip and my starter wont work. It was just working 20 min ago when i got out of work. I was messing with the remote start and it didnt work so i hopped in and went to start it. Nothing...i get all my lights and @!#$...but it wont even attempt to start. Doent go to the starter...Any ideas please? I was thinking restart the computer for the remote start but i cant find that...

Put your key in the ign.. turn the car ON- and hold the valet button for a few seconds...

Hopefully valet mode will disable your starter kill.

I just unplugger the power to the remote start...still doesnt work...

Press and hold both the brake pedal and the program/override switch for 4 full seconds...that will bypasss the starter kill

Theres no set place for the switch to be located- Its up to the installer.

But- its probably on that metal tab that sticks out right underneath the driverside dash... If not, just poke around till you find it.

well it worked....on a bad note..i have to drive almost 2 hours to the place that installed it to have it reprogrammed. I can have it done locally but they want 50 bucks. Does anyone know how to do it manually...thanks guys...

wtf...so i look it up, if the car doesnt respond and you have recently lost power, then you need to reprogram. I could find instructions for my model so i took these instructions.

Open hood
Turn key to on
hit program switch 4 times and then number 1 button on remote.
Repeat last step for any extra remotes.

I dont have a program button...so i pumped the gas peddle 4 times and hit the buttons...Boom it worked...why the @!#$ couldnt they just tell me that over the phone..
