Is there any way to wire a set of fogs or something similar up to teh DRL switch, so instead of the car using the stock DRLs it will use the fogs in the exact same way?
I know on the older DRL there was a resistor that was used for the headlights when DRL was on. If there is and you can find it, just remove the resistor and use the 12v signal for the fogs.
The resistor for the pre 2000 chevy trucks were right under the stearing colum.

It gives the wire on the BCM that signals to the DRL relay when the head lights are turned on. You could probly use this to turn on you fog lights.
