ok, this will test the true knowledge of this forum.

i was wondering since my car has only 1,2, and DELAY for my wipers if i could just swap out the switch and unit.

I can get one for like $6 at this junkyard i know, but im not sure if i would have to change anything. the intermittent relay may or may not be built in to the switch. there is quite the electronics box thing on the inside of my switch, just curious.

i know i know i should have bought a car with more options. but danG!!! i thought CC, ABS, and Intermittent came standard. i didnt realize it until after i signed the papers and payed the cash that this thing is flat BASE of all BASES

I used to just have the 1 2 on mine. I bought one from Lenko switched it out and it works great. Plug n Play!

so its just a simple swap?

Yup. Two 7mm bolts. Same plug..

this makes me happy that i can do that for a few $

i dont know why chevy even made 12 delay instead of the intermittent. i know it may cost more, but wont it cost more to have a different switch manufactured? or are they trying to get poor people like me to realize they are too poor to get intermittent wipers stock.
