I have a 1999 cav and i want to replace my door panel speakers to some aftermarket speakers!

I think the stock size is 4x6 - so does that mean 4x6 size speakers only fit?
I read somewhere that 6.5" speakers fit the door panels but im not to sure about it, i wanted to get feedback from a j.body site. Thanks.

If uve got a '99 cavalier w/ aftermarket speakers what size do uhave?

oh n/m i found the sticky about speakers, but @!#$ so mcuh work to fit 6.5" do i need an adaptr can i some how stick them in (6.5")
