ok so im trying to put some 6x9 speakers in the back of a 02 cavaliers and i got 4 wires can anybody tell me what is what on those wires plz in confused.

I think this is what you need

Speaker outputs from radio:
Tan - Left Front Speaker Output (+)
Gray - Left Front Speaker Output (-)
Light Green - Right Front Speaker Output (+)
Dark green - Right Front Speaker Output (-)

Brown - Left Rear Speaker Output (+)
Yellow - Left Rear Speaker Output (-)
Dark Blue - Right Rear Speaker Output (+)
Light Blue - Right Rear Speaker Output (-)

for wires ? i just changed my 6x9's and there was only 2 wires per speaker.

i have a 2002 and mine have 4 wires also.

use these wires in the back

Brown - Left Rear Speaker Output (+)
Yellow - Left Rear Speaker Output (-)
Dark Blue - Right Rear Speaker Output (+)
Light Blue - Right Rear Speaker Output (-)

Tape off the other 4 wires.
