Sealing Off Trunk
Saturday, October 22, 2005 8:49 PM
I am thinking of sealing off the trunk and facing my 2 12's forward and perhaps porting them through the rear deck. I think that that will give my trunk a more custom look but I'm not sure if the sound will improve or would it actually be worst as far as both spl and sq. What is involved with sealing off the trunk? I already have a dynamat trunk kit and I am planning on buying at least another bulk pack of dynamat extreme. But what else needd to be done to do this correctly?

Any input is appreciated.

wood on the rear deck where the openins are. some fiberglassing overtop of the trunk arms (they extend thru the rear deck) sealing up the holes below the small side windows. then building a box that meets the angle of the back seat
