obd2 scanners for j-bodies?

i did a search on all the forums. only threads that came up was about frodoplayer which i researched a bit and its not a scanner but moreso a music player? anyways there are a few demo versions out there that i downloaded such as auterra, dyno-scan, and digi-moto lite to name a few. alot of these demos dont even work when i connect to the car using my laptop and the obd-2 scanner. the only one that seems t work is the digimoto-lite which doesnt help much cause it only displays rpms and mph, i can look at my dash cluster for that. although a majority of them can search for the codes and clear them, i was hoping to find a shareware/demo that would have a bit more available such as temperatures for IAT, Intake Mani, tranny, throttle %, bank O2 sensors, power/torque and accel, to name a few. now dyno-scan actually has an estimated dyno for hp/tq and estimated quarter mile, 0-60, and 1/8, BUT for some reason i cant get the software to function right at all, example would be i would choose Live Data and pick RPMs and the gauge display would bounce up and down like crazy from 0-20000(?) when im just in park. if anyone knows of any shareware/demos that works and possibly have a few plus' on it please fill me in. thanks in advance
