I have a question i just put some new 6 by 9s in my car and i went to hook up a amp to them but when i did every one of my speakers quit working what did i do? can some one help me?

I had that happen when I hooked up my system, if you shorted out one of the speakers, it draws all of the signal from the other ones, so I'd look for a short...

hey i was wondering if it is a greater posability that i screwed up the stock deck or a short

When I did that, I screwed up both my aftermarket deck (thank god it was cheap) and I blew a fuse. None of my speakers were blown, thank god. Replaced the fuse and the deck, everything ran fine again.

Did it in my cav too, never suspected any fuses except the one on the back of the CD player.

ight thanks man do you know where i can find any cheap decks on the net? i just thought i better change it im running my stock deck now but thats the one thats @!#$ up i checked all my wires and i dont have any shorts i took it to park preformance in new philli and they checked it for me they said its my deck so yeah thanks again
