ok well i have managed to get a free pair of Alpine SPS-170A's

they are a 6-1/2' speaker, and i need to get them to fit in my 2004 - 4 dr cavalier

i have an idea how to make the mounts but im not 100% about it, (this is obviously my first time at it)

anyone has anything i can refer to for making them? (other then the sticky that has broken picture links )

i know everyone will prolly tell me to search for it, but i have tried and not much comes up for my 2004 specifiaclly and nowhere does it say that the sizes are the same for 2nd gen as for 3rd gen........

help me out guys
thanks

just measure the deapth of the speaker, then measure the deapth of the opening back to where your window is, this will tell you how thick you baffle piece will need to be. then cut a piece of wood big enough to cover the stock hole and fit your speaker in it. cut the hole for the speaker and mount it. not much more then that.
