XM and Sirius on same HU?

I've got a Pioneer HU with XM attached, but I want to add Sirius as well.

Anyone know if satellite-ready HUs have an input for each or are you stuck with one satellite company per radio?

Maybe an adaptor so you can have 2?

Any help appreciated!

Steve

check to see if your hu has aux on the back. then get a rca switch. should do the trick.

Damn just found out that the radio will only recognize one satellite receiver at a time. So what I'm gonna do is get their latest portable and build it into my dash or door as a "second" HU of sorts.

I'll post pics when I get around to this project - gotta finish the garage first!

Thanks anyway, though

why not have one run to the rca aux on your head unit (xm) then use sirius's built in fm modulator?

that will work

no depending on your head unit you can do both its called a piggy back what you do is hook up xm to the back of the head unit then plug that in to the xm brain then you take sirus plug that into the input slot on the xm brain give both of them power and your set oh make sure you have your aux input turned on in the head unit.

keep beepin azzhole im reloading!!!
