Need help on wiring my air ride to my alarm so when i arm the car the air dumps out. Tnanks inadvance
no idea that could be done, but sounds trippy!
Well....
You would have to find the wire on the alarm- ground when armed output...
This would have to be connected to a relay as the signal wire, a few others- and then 12 volts from the relay going out to the dump valves...
I don't know what kind of valve setup you have- so you might need a few relays to split the wire... Im not sure what kind of draw an airride valve pulls.. You might be okay with just splitting the output wire.
On second thought, that method would leave the dump valve open whenever the car alarm is armed.. That would probably burn out the solenoids or something...
You'de be better off hooking it up to a latched output of the alarm.. Something similar to the trunk pop- but, like channel 3 or something, usually used for rollup modules etc.. . . This way, you could press the act. button the the fob, and dump the air.. When you let go of the button, the valves would close.
What brand/model alarm do you have?
what he said not as simple as you think
just hook it up to the light "flash" that tells you when your alarm is armed, but instead of flashing your lights it dumps your bags.

the lights only flash for a brief second..probably not long enough to drop the car.
I hooked my bags on my astro up to a remote..but not the alarm. I had to have a few relays, lol
