Does anyone know where i can find a nice looking bracket to put my pioneer deck into my new cavi with ? ive been looking around local shops and all i could find are ones that stick out of the dash is this really nessesary? ive never been back there yet but do i really need that ugly piece of black plastic sticking out of my dash to fit my cd player in there ??? could you guys post some pics of what your CD player looks like in your dash and where you got your install bracket from ?

The dash kit? Go to Circuit City and get one. The ones we use are almost flush.

I went to CC and got the dash kit, adapter & HU. You can do the install yourself (check Lenko's sticky at the beginning of the forum). In order for my kit to sit flush I removed the black plastic inner holder. Does that make sense? I wish I didn't let my ex keep the digital camera. I'd post some pics of what I mean. I think if you follow the instructions that came with it you'll be good.

oh i know what u mean i installed the deck myself in my old plymouth acclaim i just havnt liked the look of the brackets there selling at futureshop crutchfield and my local car audio shop they all hang out half an inch it looks stupid....but thanks for the advide ill check circuit city
