i'm trying to install my stock Cd player from my 96 cavalier into my Astro Van, i got it working, but i dont know what wire is for the button lights, also, i have it hooked up so the radio turns off when i turn the key off, But, when i turn the key off, the clock resets. Does anyone know what colour is the wire for the light, which wire needs constant 12 volt power, and which wire is hooked up to the key, thanks
ummmm...i think you have to hook the red wire to a 12v source....like the ignition fuse on the drivers side...

^ incorrect
on the radio side (not the car side), red is for switched 12v (when u turn on and off the car), yellow is for constant 12v (hot at all times), and the orange or orange/white should be the dimmer.
