do i just hook up the yellow wire to a 12 volt and the black to a ground???

I guess that depends if you're paying retail prices

My neons and cold cathodes all came from Ebay... all about the same prices.... cheap....

To answer the question, yellow is positive, black is ground.

ok so, whats the average size of an underbody kit??
24" for front and rear and 36" for side?
i;m thinkin bout doin an underbody with cathodes and i jsut need to know how many to get

Cheap undercar neons are usually 48's on the sides and 36's on the front and rear. Good ones are 54" sides.. damned if I know what mine is... it's an LED kit tho.

Ah, i measured it. Plasmaglow 7-color LED kit... 36 front and rear, 48 sides.

higher voltage version of a neon tube... basically... it's a thinner neon tube.

ive been using them for about 6 years now. they are much thinner, and MUCH more prone to breaking. i wouldnt reccomend them AT ALL for an undercar kit, but for interior lighting, they work just fine, just wire the inverter's wires to your car as a normal accessory, PC power supplies still give out same voltage a car does.
