okay, so i got lambo door hinges installed a while back, and for some strange reason, my dome light sometimes won't turn off inside the car. Now, i've narrowed it down to the passenger door because sometimes if it doesn't turn off, i will open the door, and close it again, and it will turn off...sometimes it doesn't, and i have to pull the fuse to keep the battery from dying. I didn't install these hinges myself, but i did redo the wirring connections to make sure they were proper (and they were, because the problem still exists). So what i'm wondering is, is there a sensor or something in the door latch that might be causing this? The behaviour of the dome light indicates that the door isn't full closed (but it is). Anyone have any ideas? TIA
Only thing it could be is the door pin... and with lambos, that area is subject to coming away from the body.
Your shop sucks

Seriously... who installed them?
MF Technology over bordering Richmond and Vancouver...how can i adjust it to hit the pin better?
yep my lambos did the same @!#$ u have to make sure.. with the door open push in the pin and see if it turns off if it does ur door is not sealing good enough.. u need to move ur latch back so it closes tighter mine di dthat with lambos at first also
that must be it....the bodyshop welded my hinges to my car (morons), so i'm gonna take it back to them and get them to fix it
wow thats messed up.. anyway hood news loosen the actual latch on the door jam and push it back just a hair and tighten it try to close ur door it should help if not close ur door turn on alarm or whatever and try to push the door from the outside n hold it for like 5sec to see if the light goes off.. try to put ur finger on it with the door open first those pins go bad sometimes.
