if you wanna go hifonics take the collosus. the brutus series is known not to do rated power.

I've heard good things and bad things. Some people say they can run them at 1/2 ohm all day long no problems, I had problems with the 1500d's i had at 1 ohm (which they say they're rated at). I ran mine at 2 ohm and they didn't do a chernobyl. My new amp I got is a MA HK401sx which is rated at 1800w at 1/2 ohm. Hopefully this one will handle it

I can testify to this. I have seen 2 XX Collosus go up in smoke pre cursored by a flashing bolt. Extremely unreliable.

the alphasonic is audiobahn the lightning audio is RF. mtx and rf are two ohm amps look into an orion 1200d may be only one that you can run at 1/2 ohm
