First off, my stereo is on page 2 of my CarDomain, which is in the sig.
Earlier today, I went to hook a toggle switch up to my amp that controls the subs, so I can turn my subs off when I have the car off and want to listen to my stereo, without killing my battery.
Everything worked great before I mounted the switch. I am using one remote wire for both amps, the main wire goes to the subwoofer amp, and them from there to the other amp.
I made the main remote wire go to the amp for the door speakers, and then ran a wire from the remote, to a switch, to my other amp.
Everything still works fine, with the engine off. I put it all together, start my car to move it, and EEEEEHHHHHHEEHHHHHEHEHEHEHE comes through the speakers, and gets louder as I rev the engine. So.. I changed the setup to how I had it before, with no switch, and it still makes the noise. It is going through my subs also, but just barely.
What the hell would cause this? I have most of my wires ran along the side of the car, right under the kick panel.. I think that's what it's called. The panel right next to the trunk release, and also goes around the hood release.
What's my problem?

its altornator whine. You probably have a ground loop some where in your system check all your grounds make sure they have a solid connection
Yea... check the ground. Make sure it's not grounded to a piece of sheet metal off the frame, but the actual frame itself, like a bolt the seat is connected to.
I have my ground connected to a bolt that holds the rear bumper on... it's worked fine for about a month now.
Ill have to get a new ground and stuff if that is the problem.

instead of mickey mouseing a remote power switch. why not just set the sub out on the deck to 0. the amp will still be on, but not doin anything so the power that it would suck would be completly minimal.
also, if your battery dies that quickly i suggest gettin a new one.
i can run my 2 12"s witha rockford T20001BD for about 5 hours and still start the car.
and my battery is a cheapy.
