My question is: is there enough air space to allow 2 amps to properly breathe if they are mounted on the back of a sub box, between the sub box and the rear seat?? Thanx in advance for any info.
yea there is more than enough. if in doubt put em on the back seat and drop it down.

i would put them on the back seat it is alot easier to hide all the wires
Fast isn't always good, looks and sound is sometimes better

Thanx for the fast replies guys. I'm not really looking to make this a pretty install at the moment, I have other plans for a clean setup later. I just want to make sure they will be able to breathe properly back there behind the set cause I have to put a new amp in so I want to mount them where they will be easier to adjust the settings casue right now while they are on top of the box, it's a P.I.T.A. to adjust them.
mine werent mounted on the back of the seet but they were mounted on the back of a angled box that was facing the rear so you could see them. and they always did fine but they did get a little hot sometimes but my car is black with the black and red interior with dark tinted windows so anything would get hot in there. but it never affected performance. but one suggestion is definately get some sound dampening material to put on the trunk because mine rattled bad and still does and my speakers arnt even being pushed all the way.
Thanx Andrew, that's exactly the info I was looking for. I do have some Dynamat to put on my trunk lid for now, I just have to get off my lazy a$$ and do it! LOL
