dont have the specs for a box, but would it be possible to build a box big enough for 4 12s into the trunk of a cavalier?
Depends on the subs and box type, but yes you can.

05 Cavalier, Clarion DXZ375MP, Autotek MM8000.5 & 13Kv.2, wife's old car, updates coming soon
The guy on here called Dan has 6-10s in his trunk. My best friend used to run 3-15" JLs in his 98 Cavalier, so 4-12s should be doable, depending on the type of box. I'd think your biggest obstacles would be the volume requirements for your subs and how much trunk you're willing to lose.
BTW, what subs were you planning on using?
Orions...anyone heard of em, my buddy is selling 4, ive heard 2 of em hooked up, underpowered, they sounded allright, so i figured for the price it would be a good start to a system
ive come up with designs to hold as many as 12 10 inch subs in the trunk and you can still put you seats up, my current box holds 8, 4-12's no freakin problem
We have a cav with 4 now 15" Kicker L7's...(used to be 12's!) Looking for pics right now!

you can always make a box for 2 12s and do isobaric loading, I here a sixth order dual reflex iso-bandpass works really good as well
