my car is screwing up......you start the car, the engine fires up but the starter keeps cranking. You turn the car off the starter keeps cranking. I replaced the relay, thinking that was the problem, but I guess not. I checked my wiring but the starter only works with the wiring the way I have it. So my guess is the ignition switch is @!#$ up. Anyone else got any ideas?

Yeah, I'd have to agree with you on that. Or maybe the solenoid on the starter is sticking.

the solenoid can't be sticking because I have put two new starter's in it since the problem started. I chaanged the relay, with no luck.....I changed the ignition switch with no luck. I have changed the starter countless times, and no luck. So it must be the wiring, I just don't see how I have it wired wrong, because it only turns on the way I have it wired......unless a wire is grounding out, because it seems that the red wire coming out of the relay is causing the problem. I am considering just replacing that whole wire, from the starter to the relay, and hoping that fixes the problem.
