FM Modulator will probably be the cheapest route with a stock radio. Also you can use one from an Siruis player that will hardwire into your car and just have a single wire for your ipod.

I found one at local Best Buy. Actually I stand corrected it was a delphi skyfi modulator like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/NR-Brand-New-Delphi-SKYfi-FM-Modulator-Kit-1-00_W0QQitemZ5807115478QQcategoryZ71534QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Ummmm go to radio shack you can pick one up that plugs into your cigarette lighter you set it to where you want to be able to tune on your radio then tune your radio in... some even have a way to power whatever your running Ipod/cd walkman... there really is no wiring at all.

Sirus is a satalite radio just like xm i know at one point sams club was selling them i know there are others too i just cant remember all of them i would say check places like circut city and best buy.... also most local car shops are now getting into it too....

Be careful with those cheap FM modulators. They will produce a lot of noise. The best one I have owned is the iRock 450FM. It can use a AAA or cig. lighter source. This is what it looks like

the best system for the stock stereo is the iCruze. It plugs into the CD changer connector and plays and charges the iPod. Its expensive though... $249 at best buy. plus you need a GM adaptor which is $50.

are there any headunits that allow you to opperate the ipod from the headunit? like if you were cycling through an mp3 cd? i'd love to just stick the ipod in my glove compartment out of sight

If you get a Pioneer, Alpine, or Kenwood head unit you can get an adaptor to play through the head unit, some you can control the ipod too. figure about $100-$120 for the adaptor...

to put it bluntly... iTrips are crap. My company won't even carry them any more because of failures and returns due to poor results.

If you want to go the FM transmitter route, get a Monster iCarPlay Wireless, by far the best one on the market, and I have never had one complaint about them.
