ok, I have a 97z and converting to get power everything.
so i bought a doors with everything in it, power window, lock, mirror. Its from a 2001.
I'm looking to get the other one soon next week. i want to be able to lock/unlock remotely.
How can i do that? what if the other doors i find is a pre 99, will the both doors works together? how do i wiring this. I know i will need to get the module, but should i take it from a pree 99 or 00+? how hard would it be?

also, i already have remote start, is there a remote i can buy that will works for the doors and starter?
Your remote start, do you have the install manual? Quite a few units include keyless entry in the same box.
I don't know how the databus from the 00+ cars work in terms of door locks, etc. To be on the safe side, get the control module from a 99 and earlier car.
