i want alot of bass....would a 15" sub be the best?...i plan on spending up to $700. i plan on putting it into a 300zx.. Also what is a good amp that would go with it? Anyone have any other ideas for a loud ass system?
The ZK is a hatch if I'm not mistaken? A hatch itself will give u some monstorous bass. I suggesst hitting up
The Zeb. You can find some good speakers on there, and if you want a high powered amp, take a look at the Hifonics Brutus amps... about $200.
I say call or e-mail resonant engineering (reaudio.com) and talk to one of their local distributors. 15's aren't necessarily louder than other speakers, or better for that matter. I'd also go with an Orion amp, you can get 1000 watts for ~400 off e-bay, and you can definitely get some RE subs for 300 or less. I got two 12's for 270 shipped, and they POUND.
Agree ^^^ Decide how much space you can give up in the trunk and that will help figure out what size sub to go with. Bigger speaker generally means it needs more power to move so you'll need a bigger amp and not necessarily be any louder.
