OK first off this isnt for my cavi, its for my new impala. So I installed to alarm part of it. Did the flashing lights and all that stuff. I even did the AUX input to pop the trunk. Well now its time to install the keyless entry and im stumped. I tried and cant seem to figure it out. I located the + and - drivers door wires. The alarm is a viper 3000. But the install manual says this...

White/Black- LOCK #87a Normally closed
Green/Black-Lock #30 Common(output)
Violet/Black- Lock #87 Normally open (input)
Brown/Black-Unlock #87a Normally closed
Blue/Black- Unlock #30 Common (output)
Violet- Unlock #87 Normally Open (input)

*Note- Violet and Violet/Black are common at fuse Holder.
from the harness they are seperate then go into the fuse holder together and come out as ONE (Violet/Black)


THE Drivers Lock is Grey
THE Drivers Unlock is Tan
THE DOOR LOCK is Orange/Black -
and the UNLOCK IS THE SAME WIRE

IM JUST CONFISED AS TO HOW I SHOULD WIRE THIS UP. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.

do you know if the door lock wires are + or -?
if they are positive then take 87 and put that to 12 volts constant and
if they are negative then take 87 and put that to ground
then take the green/black "30" and put that to the lock wire
then take the blue/black "30" and put that to the unlock wire
and the the brown/ black and white/black you won't use
