Looks like a real nice unit, havent received it or installed it yet, but the specs seem decent. I got it for a crazy low price of just 470 shipped brand new. Anyone hear have the same unit or seen it in action. I havent been able to find any reviews of it online. Hopefully someone here has good things to say about it, but all comments are welcome. I would love for a DVD player in my car but a 350 $ bargain unit will not suffice. You get what you pay for. (Still looks fantastic though, but judging from Visioniks recent past I can not see much good from this thing. (IF it does do well post up and ream my ass !)

Well, I just installed the unit with Lanman31337. Its a really nice unit, audio controls aren't too extensive or easy to get at but you can control treble, mids, bass, and sub. The screen is reallly nice and dvd playback is flawless. Loading times for vcds are a little longer but it does show you little preview thumbnails of each vcd chapter you have on a menu screen. I got the unit in black which was also a plus since it matches the interior real well. Oh yea and I just found out it plays burnt dvds on dvd+r. I would recommend the vm70dv to anyone looking for something about the same quality as a jensen. Its not real flashy, but it def gets the job done.
Install of it was pretty easy. Only thing i had to do was hack part of the dash because it's pretty deep. It's 50x4, and has a 25x2 center channel built into it. I think my only complaints is that the brain box is the size of an amplifier, and rca preout voltages seems to be weak.

i did mine the same as Grimor you have more options this way but and indash is nice if you like cool visonik isn't that bad of a brand acouple of my friends have them and they are pretty nice and they have never had any problems with them
Fast isn't always good, looks and sound is sometimes better
