Can any one tell me which wire is positive on my 2000 cavalier front door panel? I have a brownish (tan) wire and a grey.
thanks
^^^^ That is just the drivers side door. The passenger side has light green and dark green. Which one is the positive on that side ??
thanks
I have no clue... although for the passenger side the darker green is the negative, lighter is positive. I guess you can try hooking the speaker up one way, see what way the woofer hits (and sound) and then hook it up the other way.
I just checked the Corsica forums, and since it's a GM, it's probably the same.
Constant 12v+ : Orange
Switched 12v+ : Yellow
Ground : Black
Illumination : Grey
Dimmer : Brown
Antenna Trigger : Pink
Left Front (+) : Tan
Left Front (-) : Gray
Right Front (+) : Light Green
Right Front (-) : Dark Green
Left Rear (+) : Brown
Left Rear (-) : Yellow
Right Rear (+) : Dark Blue
Right Rear (-) : Light Blue
that's correct
positive is tan
gray is negative.
on the passenger side, light green is positive, dark green is negative
