parking light flash w/ alarm

i've been trying to get the parking lights to flash when i lock my car so i know it took. i was originally going to make it work off the horn but the horn burst was so short that the light barely blinked. so i decided to do it off the drls. this is on a 2001 so i just grounded that blue wire on the bcm to disbale them so that when they were on the parking lights werent.
i've done all the diagrams for the wiring so i figured i would share it with everybody....i'll have it hooked up by tom. so i'll let you know if it def. works.
here is a simple breakdown of the headlight/drl wiring

and here is the parking light wiring

let me know what you think.

Wow... put it in simpler terms?? Couldn't you just do the "DRL Disable" mod and then run the remaining wire (the one that does not get grounded after being cut) to a relay, then relay to parking lights?? I would think that would do the trick, but I haven't tested it yet to know for sure.

Sweet, I was hoping so. I've thought of doing DRL parking but it's still up in the air as I may make some changes to the front end...
