I have it in my car, it's a tight fit but it'll go in.
it will not fit completely stock, I have the avic N1 in my car and this is what i did to make it fit
what you need to do is that area in the back with the grey plastic needs to be cut out I found an easy inexpensive way to do it, go out to wal mart and buy thier 9.95 soldiering iron, get your self a power cord into the car and turn it on, be careful as the tip when it gets hot will melt almost anything in the car, after its hot it goes like a knife through butter, it ruins the tip but those are a dime a dozen so who cares. After you trim out everthing your set and shouldnt have any fitment problems, but if you dont do this mod you will.

^ ^ ^ i had to cut that piece with my headunit too. I just used a dremel drill, but was still a little hard to do. I bet the soldering iron works real well.
Anybody know if that piece is the same for the 00-02 as the 95-99? That's probably my only concern.
nope its not the 95-99 are flip flopped and it will most likely hit your shifter on a 95-99
