i was wondering where to put the green wire on a friends 96 2.2 because i put it in the same place as my 89 2.0 ohv and it only runs half rpm.
off the coil pack there is a 2 and a 6 pin harness. find the 2 pin harness and there is a purple or pink wire, i cant remember but you use that wire. check my cardomain page to see
On my 97 2.2 I went out and got a factory z24 gauge cluster, all I had to do was the anti-theft learning setup, and I had a tach, no muss, no fuss. Cost me about 100 bucks for the cluster from my local junkyard.
