The stock Radio/CD Player died on my '97 sunfire. Is there somewhere I can check to see what stereos are compatible with my wiring harness or which ones work anyways, like the monsoon Cd player from a 2001 Cav for instance? I'm guessing I can use a wide variety of GM Delco stereos?

should be any sunfire/cav stereo for sure. dealer would have to program it i believe to match the VIN of your car.
probably be better sounding to get a metra harness, kit, and aftermarket deck then you can play mp3's too.

Buy a low end Alpine HU, and get it installed @ a local shop. Cheaper and it will make a world of difference.

any delco electronics 1.5 din ( pre-2000 ) stereo will work
but they cost about as much as a lower end aftermarket headunit to buy a new one.
