I am currently working on building my own sub box since the crappy one that I had gotten with my subs blew out (literally) because it was made of cheap plywood. I am nearing the completion of the box and wanted to know what the difference is with wiring them in series, parallel, and seperate is. Which would be the better way to hook up the subs for this box? FYI the sub box is 34 inches long, 16 inches high, and 16 inches wide. It is going to hold two 10 inch pyramid subs rated at 150 watts. It will be powered by a 400 watt profile california amp. What would you all recommend as to setting it up? Series, Parallel, or Seperate?

assuming your amp is 2 channel, you could either wire them each there own channel, or bridged mono them, either would work
im pretty sure you could bridge them, and run the setup at 2 ohms, i dont think ive seen many amps that wont let you do that. ass for your gains it depends on how you want to tune them, normaly what i do is crank up the volume (without subs) untill your internals start distorting, then hook up the subs and tweak your gains till there almost distorting as well, and you should be set
It is not the amp that is the problem, it would be the subs, they are only 4 ohm subs. Unless they are able to handle 2 ohm, even though on the back of them it says 150 watts, 4 ohms..

I would advise against bridging them. run them @ 4 ohm. 2 channel mode etc.

yea, you got 2 channels and 2 subs, just run them seperate in stereo
