ok, is anyone running one of these? i have one hooked up to an after market deck (long story) but i needed the rcas outs for my amp/subs, and there is 6 wires in total, 4 for speakers, then 2 brown ones, and im assuming the brown ones are grounds??, anyways, after about 10 mins of driving around this "line output converter" gets very hot, and i dont understand why. could it be that my ground isnt the best? , because its just to a small local screw. the first time i didnt even hook up the brown wires because i wasnt sure exactly what they were for, and everything worked awesome, but i could have cooked an egg on it. now with the brown wires grounded to a near by screw, its still gets pretty hot but not as bad.... by the way, there were no instructions with it, i got it at a local installation shop and i'll have to return there for advice but i figured i should try here first
On a PAC SNI-35 I used in an install in a 03 Civic, I did not hook up the brown wires to anything. Works fine.
