I hope this is the right forum seeing that it's probably something electrical...Last night, I noticed that my gauge cluster lights just went out. In the past, they've went out, and I had to turn the car off and back on and they would come back on. Now, that doesn't work anymore. It doesn't bother me too much seeing that i have super night vision (J/K). I usually keep with the flow of traffic like a mofo so I don't stick out like a sore thumb on the H/W. I've searched audio & elect., maint., interior forums, than all forums and all dates and still couldn't find any posts. I could've sworn I saw one a while back saying gauge lights/cluster lights out or something. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Much love to you all
Are the lights in the ENTIRE dash out, or just the cluster? In Other Words, does the HVAC panel light up? Try adjusting the dimmer, really fast, maybe you just have some build up on the potentiometer.

The speedo, temp and gas part--no light; the CEL, air bag (cuz I pulled the fuse when I took off the dash top [a VERY long time ago]--lights up; HVAC--no light. and I just discovered last night...parking lights fr & rr--no light; blinkers fr & rr--light; headlights and rev.--light. WTF? The exterior lights may have some thing to do with condensation in the L corner light? Thanks!
Check your fuses

sounds like you've blown one.. or more..

YAY!!!! it was the fuse label EXT LMP. I didn't know that was also connected with my gauges and HVAC lights. Thank goodnees it was something simple. Now the rhetorical question is...what made the fuse blow? Hopefully because it was in there since the car was born (Dec 99). Thanks for the replies guys! Love youse!
