So I went ahead and used the T-Harness and put my sony deck upfront... Unfortunately that really cool feature that used to make my music play until I opened the door now plays annoyingly loud static until I open my door. Any ideas to stop this?

What year is your car. What model T harness. What model sony head unit. Which Factory head unit?

Try unplugging the factory head unit from the T harness and see where that gets you.

I have a 2003 Sunfire with the regular factory unit. I installed my CD player, a Sony CDX M850MP. If I am not mistaken the T-Harness is an American international (If I had found this forum earlier it never would have been there in the first place, lol). Incidently I also have in the rear a pair of pioneer 350W rev 6x9s can anyone recommend what size of amp would be appropriate. Thanks for al of your help.

Did you try unplugging your Factory head unit yet?
