what are some good places online to order car audio stuff like a new deck and stuff, and also im looking for recomendations on a deck for a simple setup, 2 12's and an amp
I just ordered a sub, 2 amps, component speakers, and a deck from
Crutchfield.
They are pricey, but I split my orders into 4 over the course of a month(yes, i know I'm cheap) and used various applying coupon codes from
here. You can only use one at a time, thats why I split my orders up.
Keep an eye on their free shipping items too. All decks ship free, and orders over 149 ship free. I think overall I was able to save myself about $75 on everything and my amps came with 3 year warranties while everyone else was giving a 1 year warranty on them. I also like crutchfield because if you get something you don't like, you can return hassle free at a no charge whatsoever.
Other places to keep in mind are etronics.com (they can take awhile to ship though) and ikesound.com
Sounddomain.com is another. Again, a bit on the pricy side ... stupid sales tax... as long as you don't reside in WA state, you're good to go with SD

I don't think I've paid more than iek $15 for shipping from ikesound. But the last time I got something from them was awhile ago, so things could have changed.
