Just Finished installing a new dvd player. I must say that this was the most difficult install I have ever done. It's not the fault of the cavalier, but rather the deck that I placed inside it. Anyway, here are some photos.

Huge Distraction
At The same time I ran the wire for 2 amps, one for my Bazooka RS10 and the other for the rear speakers. I have a new idea for mounting them since there are not a lot of options. Once that project is complete I will post more photos.

is that a stock 6x9 and an upgraded one???
I notice you have a scoshe deck kit, I can't tell by the pics but did your deck go in all the way into the hole in the kit? because I had trouble with mine, they printed the instructions wrong and I didn't use the spacers (i made my own) and the Kenwood trim wouldn't fit around so I had to cut it. I'm probably gonna end up redoing it after the summer. I'm trying to make it more flush I guess.

For the Scoshe kit I had to trim/cut two pillars in the right and left rear of the stereo compartment in order for it to slide all the way back. I had problems with the wiring harness on the left hitting and on the right the actual cage was hitting. Once you nip them they become flexible. I'm glad now that I went with a wireless video transmission dvd unit, because I do not want to try to cram any more wires behind the radio. My fav. feature of this hu so far (day 2) is the dvd mp3 playback. The trim piece around the deck has to go on before installing the panel that has the vents in it.

Should have my amps mounted soon.
thanks alot I realised that the trim piece has to go on like that after I looked at the instructions from scoshe and found that they were messed, I WAS PISSED. So now I know I have to use the spacers and I didn't have to cut anything, I think if I use the spacers I won't have to cut anything in the back of the stereo compartment because I had the deck brought out a little further and the scosche directions (printed properly) do not say anything about cutting the rear whereas they do on the some of the other GM instructions.
I only had to cut mine because of all of the wires, the deck itself would clear fine, but with all of the harnesses attached it became a pita. The worst was the antena adapter.
