installing speakers in the dash?

Is there room in the trim panel (next to the A pillars) to drop in a speaker. Looking at maybe a 4" midrange. I know there is enough room for the width. Wasn't sure if there was enough room for the mounting depth.

Are you talking the inner mirror trim?

the lower trim panel. plastic piece about 4-6" wide that stretches from A pillar to A pillar following the curve of the windshield

I could do that if I wanted to completely disassemble the dash. I was hoping to get the information from others who have more knowledge of the cavalier. That way, if it isn't possible, I won't have torn the dash apart
