i'm going to convert from manual to power windows in my 2002 cav. i already tried an aftermarket kit, but it came apart on me so i'm just going to get all the parts i need that would be stock. i called up a couple salvage yards and a dealership. the parts guy at the dealership claimed that the wire harnesses might be different for a car with and a car without power windows and to do the job properly i may need the different harness. is this at all true? if it is how can i wire around that? thanks.

just wire it them to its own power source....switched if you want tthem only to work with thte power on or like me im going to have it so they work all the time... phil
thanks. that's kinda what i figured. now i just got another question. wish that didn't happen all the time.

is there a control module inside one of the doors? i heard that there is and i heard that there isn't. i honestly can't think of what there would be a control module for, but there's a lot of things about cars i don't understand just yet. thanks again

umm i never heard of that before..i have a friend that did it in his 2000 cav and he said he just got the regulators and switches and hooked them up..so im guessing no???!..phil
that's good. i'd hate to have to pay more than i'm already paying. thanks again phil.
