Well, boredom finally set in so I up and decided to prototype up some custom tails for my 'Fire. Gonna style them a bit off of the Toyo tails, with a seperate turn signal. Since currently this is more of an electronic component question rather than an exterior...

Question is this: I'm trying to decide which color LED to use for the turn signal. Anyone have actual in-use pics of both yellow and orange LED to use as a side by side comparison?

I agree on the Orange over Yellow. Most turn signals are more amber in color, which orange LEDs should more closely match. You could always mix and match them as well to get the desired light output and color you are looking for. Yellow and Orange LEDs are cheap.

ack, i bought clear corners off a jbody.org member, he didnt include the amber lights... I wish he could have told me that while selling them to me.

use amber dont use yellow...orange is closer to amber though....
