Awesome speakers, got them for about 140 shipped from Ikesound.com, they are like 250 if you buy them at Best Buy. Sound great with some decent subs too!

What we're working with...

Remove window crank (c-clip) with thin sock

Remove door panel

dont lay it down like that or you'll scratch it like i did

Take out old speakers

Screw in adapters if your doing 6.5s

Wire the speakers and bolt them in

Remove rear deck

Remove old speakers

Wire and place in new speakers

Put rear deck covering back on

Pretty simple, I would reccommend adding sound deadener or dynamat to the door panels and rear deck also.

Just a quick question.... where did you get the adapters? I saw them one time on ebay and didn't buy them, now I can't find them anywhere. Thanks.

I got them off ebay, just find them in completed items if they are not currently for sale and email the seller about getting a pair.

^^ So you know as long as your doing coaxials (speakers similar to the ones up top) then you'll be fine using the adapter plates, but if you go the component route you'll have to fab up some adapters cuz the crutchfield ones will not fit in most cases

I did the same thing as above, but I put LEDs in the speakers and took off the fabric from the inside of the door panel that covers the speaker. Looks pretty cool at night.

In the doors? You just have to find a place for the tweeter, that's all.
