what do you mean by the qforms? I searched for them and came up with nothing...
in my cav i had to cut the factor kick panels off and reuse the strip that covers the edge of the carpet .im not sure how the work in a sunfire.do you have picks?
I had to cut some of the factory off as well, adn make it fit so that the screws would line up and the plastic trim would still hold onto the frame... it was more pain then I expected it to be, but it wasn't too bad...
yeah i had to cut those off but there are two screwed that hold the whole thing in place and you drill them right into the plastic trim pieces. it barely holds the setup in there and i dont even have 5.25 in there i have a 4"...im kinda disapoointed by them.
anyone else...

my kick panel screw to the actual car,the only place that is plastic is were the hood latch is.do you have any pics?if you cant post them email them to me at ricefreecav@aol.com
I've got 6" components in mine and I love them... save for the accidental kicking in of the tweeters... but that is the price you pay to have them down there...
deck wasnt installed yet in this pic, but its in now. the kicks are still in right now but it doesnt give a very good seal against the carpet like i thought it would. plus, theres no where to screw. under the door sill theres a hole for me to drill a screw through but that seems like it wont work well. behind the latch theres some plastic for it to grab on to but when you screw it to the trim, it pulls up the bottom of the kickabout half an inch.
maybe im just picky

ok for the door seal part there should have been a small white plastic spacer maybe an inch or so long, that you put under the kick panel and you run the screw through it.also behind the hood release there are 2 screws you are supposed to use one of those.i think its like a 7 mm or something around that size.if you over tighten the screw in the door jam it could cause the bottom to pull away from carpet.thats what those spacers are for.i hope this helps.
