HELP!!! my stereo is worth more than my car.... well almost... I am planning on getting rid of my car someday in the future and I know i can not sell to most people with my current audio set up. I was wondering if I am better off selling it in pieces or as a "system" Do people buy things like that off ebay, or I am better off with a classified on here. What kind of moneys should i be asking. I know its used and not the highest end gear.
I have the following:
3 rockford 10" he2 in a fiberglass box
3 pioneer gmx-942 in an amp rack
2 rockford 1 farad caps
all the panels

I always thought that getting 50% of the price you could find online, like from SoundDomain, was very lucky.
On most of the used car audio stuff I have sold in the past, I got pry 35-45% of the original price
, but on a few things, I have got 100%, due to getting a great deal in the first place.

so did you build that or have it made for you? and if you made it, how? I need something to reclaim my trunk space as I need to move to and from school and stuff...
My buddy built 85% of it, i did 15%. If you look in my profile there is a link to my sound domain page, it has pictures of the box outside the car and some info if your thinking about doing it your self.
VERY NICE! id put it as a whole on j-body first, because it would plug-and-play into a j-body trunk. if nobody goes for it, then part it out on ebay.
